TODAY, IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE!

HEBREWS 3:7  “THEREFORE, AS THE HOLY SPIRIT SAYS, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS IN THE DAY OF REBELLION—-“

Many hear many things everyday, except the call of the Holy Spirit, saying, “Come to the Lord Jesus Christ!  Come in repentance to God the Father today, and by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ.”  He is calling, whether you hear him or not; and those who have ears to hear, will find themselves saved and forgiven, if they come.

If you are among God’s elect, and you have come to him, recently, or perhaps long ago, don’t tire of hearing the gospel call go out to others.  Rather, pray that they will hear, and obey the gospel.  This is the duty of the church; the Oran Christian Church, of which I’m a member, and every other church where Jesus is worshiped as Savior and Lord, and is preached as the Only Way of salvation, by grace through faith.

When I started witnessing for Jesus Christ, in this way, by “blogs” on WordPress, I realized that many would tire of my “harping” on the same things.  Although I may be sorry that you are tired of the gospel being preached over and over, I do not apologize for this in the least.  Indeed I know the “gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written the righteous shall live by faith” (Romans 1:16,17).  Some will hear, as for the first time with ears awakened by the Holy Spirit, and will believe, and will be saved.  How do I know that?  Because God says in his Word: “So shall my Word be that goes out of my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I send it” (Isaiah 55:11).   God is  glorified, perhaps as in no other way, by the Salvation and Sanctification of precious souls. Those for whom Christ died, and for whom he came to “seek and to save.”  We who know him as Lord and Savior, are blessed to be a part of the the ministry of reconciliation, by which God is reconciling all things to himself (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

Today, if you hear his voice, come!

Sent out in love, by a sinner saved by God’s irresistible grace,

TODAY, IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE!

GOD – OUR MAKER AND SAVIOR!

IT’S GOD WHO MOVES PEOPLE, AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!  HE, BY IRRESISTIBLE GRACE, CALLS US TO HIMSELF.  WE DO NOT, BY SOME INEXPLICABLE AND MYSTICAL SOMETHING, INHERENT WITHIN US, CALL HIM TO US (BILL BIZA).

Isaiah 42:5-9:  “Thus says the Lord, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and what comes from it, who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk in it: ‘I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you; I will give you as a covenant for the people, a light for the nations, to open the eyes that are blind, to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon, from the prison those who sit in darkness.

I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.  Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.’ “

The Scripture above, from Isaiah 42, is about Almighty  God; about Israel; and, about the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of David, in particular.  In this Scripture, Almighty God declares his sovereignty in creation; both physical life, and the new creation in Jesus Christ.

It is He, the Sovereign, All Powerful, All knowing, and Everywhere Present God who “takes us by the hand and keeps us.”  It is not by our initiative that we come to God.  It is by  His irresistible grace that He draws us to Himself in Jesus Christ.  That, beloved friends, is what the Bible clearly teaches.  Away with all of the other ideas or ideologies about God.  “I am the Lord,” He declares!  “That is my name,” He says.  “My glory I give to no other!”  Yet, in spite of God’s clear testimony of Himself in Holy Scripture, thousands upon thousands are deceived into believing that they have a part, either ecclesiastically, or physically, in their own salvation.  Consequently, they are on the path to Hell!

Sola Christ!  Sola Scripture!  Sola Grace!  Sola Faith!  Glory to Almighty God alone!

Christ alone!  Scripture alone!  Grace alone!  Faith alone!  Glory to God: The Father; The Son; and the Holy Spirit, One God in Three Persons, alone!

It is The Almighty God in Jesus Christ, who seeks us to save us, and no other way!  “Come, let us adore Him!”

With love, from sinner saved by irresistible grace,

Bill
