HEBREWS 3:7 “THEREFORE, AS THE HOLY SPIRIT SAYS, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS IN THE DAY OF REBELLION—-“
Many hear many things everyday, except the call of the Holy Spirit, saying, “Come to the Lord Jesus Christ! Come in repentance to God the Father today, and by faith to the Lord Jesus Christ.” He is calling, whether you hear him or not; and those who have ears to hear, will find themselves saved and forgiven, if they come.
If you are among God’s elect, and you have come to him, recently, or perhaps long ago, don’t tire of hearing the gospel call go out to others. Rather, pray that they will hear, and obey the gospel. This is the duty of the church; the Oran Christian Church, of which I’m a member, and every other church where Jesus is worshiped as Savior and Lord, and is preached as the Only Way of salvation, by grace through faith.
When I started witnessing for Jesus Christ, in this way, by “blogs” on WordPress, I realized that many would tire of my “harping” on the same things. Although I may be sorry that you are tired of the gospel being preached over and over, I do not apologize for this in the least. Indeed I know the “gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written the righteous shall live by faith” (Romans 1:16,17). Some will hear, as for the first time with ears awakened by the Holy Spirit, and will believe, and will be saved. How do I know that? Because God says in his Word: “So shall my Word be that goes out of my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I send it” (Isaiah 55:11). God is glorified, perhaps as in no other way, by the Salvation and Sanctification of precious souls. Those for whom Christ died, and for whom he came to “seek and to save.” We who know him as Lord and Savior, are blessed to be a part of the the ministry of reconciliation, by which God is reconciling all things to himself (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
Today, if you hear his voice, come!
